In 1961, ten employees from the United State Post Office and the United States Department of Agriculture each made an investment to purchase a share of ownership in the newly chartered credit union called Brazos County Federal Employees Credit Union. This credit union was established by its members to serve the federal employees from USPS, USDA, SSA, FAA, and other federal agencies in or supervised from Brazos County. Today, FedStar Credit Union serves over 2200 members with assets exceeding $ 24,000,000. in 2010, FedStar moved to its new location on Harvey Road in College Station to expand its services and provide local service to students and residents of the Bryan College Station area. FedStar looks forward to serving all members now and in the future. We are a full service financial cooperative providing real estate, auto and personal loans that meet your lifestyle.
