Biga on the Banks, based in San Antonio, is a full-service restaurant with a banquet room and catering facility. Five private rooms accommodating up to 200 people include the Espada Room, Capistrano, Alamo, San Jose Room and the River Terrace Room. Any two or all three of the Capistrano, Alamo and San Jose rooms can be combined together for large dining groups, receptions and dance floors. All rooms are available for a range of events, such as weddings, birthday parties, business meetings and special events. Biga s menu includes a variety of starters, main courses, soups and salads, sides and desserts and puddings. These include house smoked salmon nachos, risotto with sunchokes, chicken fried oysters, Serrano ham, orange cumin amaranth, smoked cinnamon guinea hen breast, lobster bisque, Belgian endive, baked cauliflower cheese, sticky toffee pudding, ginger glazed lemon cake, sorbets and ice creams.
