Belton High School is a public, four-year secondary school that enrolls more than 2,200 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers programs in fine arts, foreign languages, and health and physical education. Belton High School also conducts classes in family and consumer science and technology education. Its athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, cross country, soccer, basketball, power lifting, swimming, tennis, track and field, baseball and golf. The school supports several clubs and organizations, including the National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America, and art, chess, book, speech and Spanish clubs. It is located in Belton, Texas, and is a part of the Belton Independent School District. Belton High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Texas Education Agency.
