ABNC protects 2,500 acres of natural wetland forest, prairie marsh habitats once abundant in the Houston and Galveston area and is one of the largest urban wilderness preserves in the United States. Armand Bayou Nature Center is home to over 370 species of Texas wildlife. Things to do hiking trails, kayaking, pontoon cruises, animal exhibits, kids programs, birding, and authentic 1800s farm.
