Dallas Area Agency on Aging, also known as DAAA, was created as a result of the 1973 Amendments to the Older Americans Act (OAA). The organization serves as an advocate on behalf of persons above the age of 60. It plans, develops and coordinates various services to ensure positive impact on their health, honor and dignity. Dallas Area Agency on Aging s finding sources include the Older Americans Act, Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. Located in Dallas, the organization is sponsored by the Community Council of Greater Dallas.
