HistoryThe company was formed in 1976 as BioMedical Research Group (BRG), a leading analgesia company. In 1996 SCIREX was formed through a merger between BRG, National Medical Reseach Corporation (NMRC) and an infusion of private equity and growth capital. In 2008, the company was re-named Premier Research. For more than 30 years, Premier Research has been conducting clinical research studies to evaluate investigational medication in a variety of medical conditions including acute and chronic pain. We have treated more than 90,000 study volunteers in over 350 clinical research studies.
