History
A native West Texan, Alan B. Harris graduated from Abilene Cooper in 1978. Alan went on to attend McMurry University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983. He continued his education at Texas Southern University where Alan earned his law degree in 1990. In 1991 Alan moved to Odessa, Texas and began practicing law where he has continued his solo practice. He has successfully tried criminal and civil cases in a number of courts in West Texas including Winkler County, Andrews County, Reeves County, Ector County, and Midland County. He also has years of experience in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and is licensed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
