History
Originally Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, The Bell Tower was one of the first churches built in Nashville by freed slaves after the Civil War in 1874. Most of the neighborhood was demolished following World War II, and The Bell Tower is one of the last remaining original structures. The building has since changed ownership a handful of times, but opened as the newly named The Bell Tower in 2014.
