HistoryDr. Gaither received his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences School of Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Gaither choose to further his education staying in Memphis an extra year and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. After three years of post-graduate study Dr. Gaither was awarded a Certificate of Periodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at this program Dr. Gaither had explicit training in periodontal disease management, cosmetic oral plastic surgery and dental implantology. He also completed a hospital rotation at the Veterans hospital in Birmingham in order to be certified to administer conscious sedation. Dr. Gaither has now returned to his home town and has opened a private practice.
