History
Kris Salisbury founded Sports 4 All as a way to promote full access to sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Her understanding of the community's needs, experience in fundraising, and knowledge of the business world created the platform from which the unique service of Sports 4 All took shape. Kris first saw the need for additional programs and services for adults with disabilities while coaching her daughter Erika in Special Olympics. Kris and the other coaches noticed a large number of participants without proper sports equipment or apparel. Kris began collecting new and gently used equipment to donate to these athletes free of charge and Sports 4 All official began! Since then, Sports 4 All has expanded to offering adaptive fitness and nutrition education classes across the state of TN to provide opportunities to healthy activities to individuals of all ages and ability levels.
