Padmasambhava Buddhist Center of Tennessee is one of the largest Tibetan Dharma groups in the region, established in 1990. Led by Venerable Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, the center meets regularly at the Yeshe Tsogyal Temple in Nashville and holds annual retreats at Padma Gochen Ling, their retreat center in Monterey, Tennessee. The center is dedicated to preserving the authentic teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni and Guru Padmasambhava, with a focus on the Nyingma school and Vajrayana Buddhism.
As a holder of the complete Nyingmapa lineage, Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche is a master of Dzogchen and is well-versed in the Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana schools. He has co-authored over 35 Dharma books in English and travels worldwide to give teachings, empowerments, and personal guidance.
