Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, headquartered in LaVergne Tenn., is a federated cooperative serving 65 member-owners with farm supplies and agricultural research organizations. Founded in 1945, TFC operates more than 140 cooperative retail outlets, which are located in 85 counties and serve more than half a million customers throughout the state. Its products, available to both members and non-members, include feed and livestock supplements, pesticides, roofing and fencing products, livestock equipment, dog kennels, carports and building supplies. The company also owns a Metal fabrication plant that offers products manufactured at TFC's plant in LaVergne, including gates, hay and bunk feeders, bale-moving equipment, corral panels and other items.
