Mountain Outfitters has been owned and operated by the Burnett family for over thirteen years. Since then, Mountain Outfitters has been the sole provider of reliable outdoor clothing and gear for the Cumberland Plateau and surrounding communities. From a small store in Sewanee to a larger, more accommodating facility in Monteagle, Mountain Outfitters is dedicated to serving both the needy and the wealthy, the active and the disabled. Our community service initiatives include Food for Change, the Mountain Goat Trail, Boy Scouts, and various local schools, among others.
