Built in 1915 for the Samuel Buffat family, this Arts and Crafts bungalow mansion has been featured on the cover of Old House Journal magazine. The historic Marble Hill is conveniently located less than one mile from downtown Knoxville. We offer luxurious accomodations, VIP packages, business services and meeting space, as well as signature breakfasts like smoked salmon eggs benedict, French crepes with a lemon blueberry ricotta filling. We also enjoy tailoring breakfast to our guest's needs, whether vegetarian, Vegan, gluten-free, Kosher, or other dietary restrictions. Once home to legendary bluegrass musician Curly Dan Bailey, the home is filled with art from the owner's private collection of works by noted 20th century American (and East Tennessee) illustrator John Alan Maxwell.
