Knoxville Zoological Gardens provide information about animals, the plants and the people who make up the communities of the earth through education, conservation, exhibition, research and recreation. Its indoor and outdoor zoo programs include biofacts, tours and live animal encounters and the students learn about habitats, adaptations, classification, food chains and predator-prey relationships. Its zoomobile collection includes small mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, spiders and insects. Its kid s summer programs include summer camps, vacation Bible schools, libraries, daycares and an animal encounter. It offers educational overnight adventure in Bedtime with the Beasts programs. It also organizes birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays in the News Sentinel Birthday Party Place for an hour and a half.
