HistoryOur store had been a hardware/general store since the 1800's. It has been under current ownership since 1954. Our building has been a hub of commerce for Somerville serving as not only a hardware store but also the telephone exchange, funeral home, and dance school. When Mr. Allen started at the store we were selling horse drawn equipment.
