East Fork Stables opened to the public in 1994 when it's parent company, The Estate of Bruno Gernt, Inc., decided to diversify into the tourism business. East Fork Stables was quickly established as one of the best trail riding venues in the state. The 12,000 acre privately owned tract of land that contains East Fork's trail system of over 100 miles is on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau and offers a diverse selection of attractions: Water Falls Wagon Trails Spectacular Overlooks & Rock Formations Challenging to Easy Trails Fields Easy Level Terrain Breathtaking Vistas Abundant Wildlife including deer, boar, turkey, and the occasional black bear

Located in the heart of Big South Fork, we are the largest horse campground, and know how to cater to the needs of our riders. Our 100-mile trail system offers stunning views throughout the 12,000 acres of our private land. Our trails offer a variety of difficulties, from easy to more challenging, as well as options for horse and mule ridders who saddle ride or bring wagons and buggy's. We offer large cabins, bunkhouse's, full hook-up & Primitive RV sites. Let us pamper you during one of our epic organized trail rides where we do all the cooking and work.
