History
My goal as a Rolfer and Integrative Bodywork practitioner is guiding clients back to a state of physical balance. I am extensively trained in Rolfing Structural Integration and the treatment of painful conditions. I believe that health is not a luxury and in the ability for every body to experience an easier physical experience. If you suffer with a lack of mobility, pain, or a lost sense of well-being I encourage you to consider this hands-on approach to health!
Specialties
Rolfing Structural Integration is a powerful modality for addressing chronic pain conditions, surgical and traumatic injury recovery, and for boosting athletic performance. Rolfing teaches the body to lengthen with ease resulting in greater strength, coordination, and skill. Other benefits include relief from chronic or acute tension or pain, increased flexibility and coordination, increased body awareness, and the release of emotional blocks stored within the body. Injury and Recovery: Promote recovery from acute and chronic injuries with highly productive manual therapy, sports massage, and orthopedic massage. Reestablish functional range-of-motion, manage inflammation, and ease pain. Ideal for sports injuries, accidents, and pre- or post-surgery. Release scar tissue and address non-functional movement patterns. Nerve Pain: Pain starts at the nerve and many painful conditions are caused by trapped and compressed nerves. Neural mobilization gently frees sensitive nerves from surrounding structures using a light touch. This approach is highly effective for tunnel syndromes, sciatica, whiplash, back, leg, and arm pain. Massage: Relax away tight muscles and daily tension with a full-body deep-tissue massage designed to reconnect you with your body and mind. A combination of Swedish Massage and deep-dissue modalities that will leave you ready for anything. Make massage a part of your regular physical maintenance routine!
