CADAS, the Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, was founded in 1964 and provides treatment, prevention and educational services to chemically dependent individuals and their families. It offers various services for adults, including 24-hours residential treatment, day treatment, outpatient services and transitional living programs. The organization s programs include individual treatment plans, relapse prevention, detoxification services, support groups, pastoral services, vocational rehabilitation, and group and individual therapies. Its adolescent program provides care for children aged 13 to 18 that includes detoxification services and an accredited school. CADAS offers various community services to assist in drug and alcohol prevention and recovery. It includes court liaison services, drug screening, high risk youth program and regional training.
