In 2003 a group of concerned citizens identified a need for their community. Union City was in need of a safe haven, a home away from home. The community needed fun environment where the city's youth could to be taught and nurtured. Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee was the answer to this need. The Club first opened it's doors in 2004. Today Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee has more than 900 Club Members between the ages of 6-18. Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest TN provides activities in the areas of: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
