History
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church had been praying and seeking God's face for many years regarding a strategy to make disciples within its surrounding communities. Both the Preston Taylor apartments and Sylvan Park have a majority of families that are much younger than the average age of St. Andrew's members. Realizing that these families represent a harvest that needs to be reached for Christ, St. Andrew's formed a group of 10 people and their families who began praying and meeting about starting a new congregation. In March 2013, this group, which called themselves As One Fellowship began meeting once a month at St. Andrew's on Sunday evenings. On July 28, 2013 As One Fellowship had its official grand opening and began meeting weekly as a church community. Three months later, As One moved to McCabe Community Center in Sylvan Park and we continue to meet here every week at 4:00pm.
Specialties
As One Fellowship is a new worshiping community in West Nashville, which seeks to bring together people of different races, different ages, and different economic backgrounds in order to glorify God as one. We desire to be a place where people are inspired by God's unconditional love... where people are transformed out of their brokenness into something new... where people are burdened to tell others about Christ and to make disciples for Him.
