In 1994, ad guy and former journalist Tom Griffith had an idea: incredibly brilliant marketing and advertising, created and overseen by a team of experienced people in the Black Hills of western South Dakota. But this wasn't going to be an ordinary full-service advertising agency. This was going to be a firm without the hype. Without the bureaucracy. Without the complaining. And TDG Communications was born. Since 1994, we've serviced clients in South Dakota, Montana, Illinois, Florida, Wyoming, Missouri, Oregon, Iowa, California, New Jersey and New York. TDG specializes in helping organizations in tourism, gaming, healthcare, energy and natural resources, though we also work with companies in law, banking, accounting, technology services and nonprofit work. Based in the historic Wild West town of Deadwood, TDG Communications employs 18 professionals in its oddly orange 1880 office building. The TDG team has experience in marketing strategy, media planning & placement, custom publishing, public & media relations, online marketing, interactive services, video production, creative design and printing. And at least one of us knows how to ride a unicycle. TDG Communications believes that strong businesses build a stronger community. That's why we gave back more than 50% of our profits to community organizations like museums and volunteer groups in 2008. Take that, bureaucrats.
