She then continued her education at Michigan College of Optometry. She received her bachelors of Vision Science and graduated with honors as a doctor of Optometry in 2002. She then began practicing with Doctor Allen S. Jones in his optometric practices. In 2009 she started her own business, Northwest Iowa Vision Therapy in Hartley IA. In 2011 she bought the practice located in Sibley IA. Not only is she a busy doctor and business owner she is also a wife and mother. She has been married for 13 years to Chad Kunzman. They have 2 children together Abigail who is in 5th grade and Grant who is in 1st grade @ H-M-S.
