Southern Weaving Company was founded in Greenville, S.C., in 1924. From cotton webbings used by the Ford Motor Company in Model-T s to military tapes during World War II to seat belt webbing for automobiles in 1954 to its current line-up of high tensile strength narrow fabrics are used in cargo restraint, safety protection, lifting and other specialty products. In addition, Southern Weaving has geared its operations around serving its customer base with superior products and service. The company has grown throughout the years and now services North America with facilities in Greenville, Easley and Anderson, S.C.; Tarboro, N.C.; and Collingwood, Canada.
