With over 20,000 acres of tidal salt marsh and wetlands, Pawleys Island & Georgetown offers us endless opportunities of true back country saltwater fishing. The waters in and near Winyah Bay provide a clean and nutrient rich environment for a world class fishery. There are four major rivers that flow into Winyah Bay, the Black River, Pee Dee River, Sampit River and the Waccamaw River making it the third largest watershed on the east. The beauty and richness of our estuary and its wildlife is simply indescribable. We often see dolphins, turtles, osprey, and bald eagles while traveling to the fishing grounds.
