Established in 1966, the Robert Muldrow Cooper Library houses more than 1.5 million study materials, including books, periodicals and microforms. It also has government document collections, encyclopedias, databases, and online periodical indexes and abstracts. The library is a part of the Clemson University Libraries system, which additionally operates the Gunnin Architecture Library. The Gunnin Architecture Library offers study materials and books in the areas of art, landscape architecture, construction science, and city and regional planning. The system maintains a special collections library that stocks archives, rare books, and manuscripts and artifacts. Clemson University Libraries provides various tools, such as WorldCat, RefWorks and Ingenta. Its libraries offer subject-specific and English orientation classes.
