Dr. Richard Andrew Jamison joined GHS/Carolina Dermatology of Greenville on July 1, 2013. Known as Andrew, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biosystems Engineering with a minor in Bioengineering from the Calhoun Honors College at Clemson University in 2005, summa cum Laude. He received his doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. His internship was completed at Texas A&M Health Science Center at Scott and White in internal medicine where he also completed his dermatology residency in 2013. During his time in Texas, he served as Chief Resident and was awarded honors for excellence in dermatopathology and community service. He coached soccer and cross country at Easley High School during his time at Clemson and has been involved in Young Life and other Bible studies for medical students. He has published a book, a chapter of another book (both unrelated to medicine), several journal articles and presented posters at national dermatology meetings. Dr. Jamison and his wife, Jennifer, are excited to be back in the Upstate with their two daughters and look forward to serving the Greenville community.
