Rebecca Smith is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner working with the Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Team at MUSC Health. Rebecca treats patients in the outpatient setting, treating common hand and upper extremity conditions while also preparing patients for surgery. She specializes in treating patients with problems such as arthritis, trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, fractures, tendonitis, and epicondylitis, among others. She is trained in performing ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided cortisone injections for various conditions. She attended Clemson University for her undergraduate degree with a bachelor's in science. Upon graduating, she worked at MUSC Health for 12 years. She then graduated with honors from The University of South Carolina with a master's degree in science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a Charleston native and resides here with her husband and three children.
