The Preschool Special Education Program is an early childhood program for students with development disabilities. It is administered by the Center for Developmental Services, also known as CDS, which is a multidisciplinary facility for the developmental evaluation, treatment and education of children and adolescents. The Center for Developmental Services serves more than 5,000 students annually in over 10 counties in Greenville in South Carolina. It is governed by Greenville County Schools, which is an educational institution that offers a range of learning and extracurricular opportunities. The district governs several elementary, middle and high schools. Its schools offer instruction in English, math, science, social studies and physical education.
