The Isle of Palms Police Department works to provide law enforcement services and ensure the safety and security of citizens. It is comprised of more than 30 sworn police officers and civilian personnel. The department operates animal control, communication and records divisions. The Isle of Palms Police Department has a criminal investigation division that conducts drug investigations, serves warrants, processes crime scenes and maintains evidences, as well as offers victims services. It offers fingerprint and alarm system registration services and provides copies of accident reports.
