History

Mellow Mood was created by Jason & Tanya Behrens in 2006 as a retail outlet to carry products they bought while traveling in India and Thailand and Mexico. Their first store in Mt Pleasant, SC near Sullivans Island Beach is still going strong and is a popular place for unique travel, beach, and concert clothing as well as a great place for those one of a kind gifts. The downtown store nestled in the back of the Charleston Place Hotel on Hasell Street was opened in May 2010 and has been helping the business grow ever since.
