At the age of 16 he was repairing jewelry for a local store in his home town of West Monroe, Louisiana. Now, with almost 40 years experience he has become one of Greenville's favorite jewelry designers. Mike and wife, Wanda, opened Ponthieux's Jewelry Design Studio in 2001.
