The company manufactures woven cotton, polyester, poly/cotton and various blended greige goods. Its fabrics are used for draperies, upholstery, home furnishings, lycra, outdoor furniture, pocketing, jeans, caps, career wear and fire-resistant woven and knitted products. Inman Mills operates its Saybrook plants in Inman and Ramey, S. C., and its Mountain Shoals plant in Enoree, S.C. Headquartered in Inman, the company has sales representatives in South Carolina, New York and California. James A. Chapman founded the company in 1902.
