The City of Goose Creek's Fire Department is headquartered at Brandywine Boulevard. Fire Chief Steve Chapman has a staff of more than 30.

The city also has 12 paramedics, and 18 basic emergency medical technicians.
The department also has a station on Crowfield Boulevard near Startford High School, and has planned a new station, possibly a new headquarters near the Walmart on St. James Avenue.
