History
Frank's Fly Arts has been the realization of my lifelong dream to own and operate a fly fishing guide service. I started making this dream a reality in 2006 by offering fly tying and fishing classes at the Art Shack Gallery - a family-run art gallery and cafe in the Columbia's Rosewood neighborhood. The business grew with the assistance of the gallery owner and many other local Columbia business people to whom I am grateful. Since 2008, Frank's Fly Arts has gone from offering only kayak fishing to now fishing from our 15-foot inflatable drift boat. Our clients - who have come from around the world - now enjoy fishing from the most comfortable, stable boat on the river. Last year Frank's Fly Arts became a supporter of the Congaree Riverkeeper - a watchdog organization that works to protect the rivers of Columbia, SC from environmental degradation. We look forward to serving you on your next trip to Columbia and supporting the conservation of SC's natural resources and fisheries.
