Dr. Schwering received her medical degree from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C. and completed her residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. She has served the women of Oconee County since 2010. Her special interests in medicine include pediatric and adolescent gynecology, gynecologic surgeries, and international medical missions. Outside of the office, she serves as the medical director of the Foothills Care Center in Seneca and enjoys doing mission work with Adonai International Ministries in Guatemala. She is married with 2 daughters and is also a foster parent. Dr Schwering and her family are very active in their church and enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and all things Clemson football! Dr. Schwering is board-certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
