Chelsea Veranis is the newest addition to the Bone Marrow Transplant team at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. She recently graduated with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to this, she worked in oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA for three years. Chelseas interest in medicine started with her work with immunotherapy and melanoma patients, which ultimately inspired her to become a clinical provider and pursue her passion working in oncology. Her interests include stem cell transplant, immunotherapy, and working with under-served communities, including addiction medicine, unhoused, and LGBTQ populations. Her clinical training includes time spent at MUSC, Brigham & Womens Hospital, Stamford Hospital, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Outside of clinic, she enjoys running, cooking, hiking, and traveling. She is also currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health online at her alma mater.
