History
I started repairing restaurant equipment in 1985 fresh out of high school in Asheville, NC. My first employer was Rathburn Food Equipment. I learned lots of valuable information while employed with Rathburn. Hobart gray line repair was one of those valuable assets as well as learning business ethics from a very honest employer. I worked here from August 1985 until March of 1992. My second place of employment was Whaley Foodservice Repairs from March of 1992 until March of 1999. I started in the Greenville, SC office which only had 2 technicians and 1 manager including myself. I was transferred to Myrtle Beach in March of 1995 and worked here until starting Atlantic Foodservice Repairs with Glenn Johnson in March of 1999. We did very well in business. In 2002 I was divorced from my wife and transferred my portion of ownership to Glenn. After working with him for a couple more years I started Carroll Foodservice Repairs with the goal to become the best on the Grand Strand.
