He was later joined by his two sons, Wayne and Ricky Burkhalter, who now jointly own and run the business with him. As their business began to grow and their workload increased they knew they had to expand their personnel in order to provide the same quality of work they had become known for by their customers. Wanting to maintain their reputation as a family run business, they were able to resolve this issue by hiring extended family members to complete the Burkhalter & Sons Floor Sanding Service it is today.
