History
While most bed bug teams purchase older trained dogs from outside companies, our team trains and certifies our own dogs. We select high drive dogs that will drive to source because of inherent prey drive without having to resort to traditional starvation and crating techniques used by the vast majority of bed bug dog handlers. Our trainer has worked in detection dog training for many years and is also an evaluator for the bed bug dog detection certification board. We train daily on as little as one bed bug and proof against indications on dead bed bugs and skin castings so if we are called in for a post treatment inspection they will not alert on the deceased bugs. We also detail each room to ensure accuracy in detecting bed bugs prior to any large infestation.
Specialties
Our bed bug detection dogs will sniff out bed bugs - even early stage infestations, in South Carolina and North Carolina. We generally bring two certified dogs so a second dog will confirm any bed bug alerts. We will detail each room so our dogs' noses get into the small bed bug scent cone. A thorough bed bug search will cover the exterior of the room then each object on the interior as well. Detailing is essential in detecting early stages. Certified through the Integrated Bed Bug Management Association. Confidential and professional, we will respond quickly to your request for a search. We cover Residential and Commercial sites for one time inspections or regular routine inspections. We also perform post treatment inspections to ensure that all the bed bugs are gone. We are independent and charge per hour not whether we find bed bugs or not. We will give you a quote up front. We train daily to find as little as one bed bug or egg so treatment costs can be kept down. We cover Upstate to Columbia South Carolina and Western North Carolina from Charlotte west and including Asheville.
