The Arabian Temple is the North Charleston home of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, also known as the Shriners. The Shriners are a social club that engages in community outreach and various works of charity. The organization sponsors and administers the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Its members also frequent parades, driving miniature cars and wearing the red fezzes with which the group has become closely associated.
