Stephen Decatur Middle School is a learning center that enrolls students in grades six through eight. The school is a part of Prince George's County Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Its staff includes counselors, custodians, paraprofessionals, special education aides, and speech and language pathologists. The school operates language arts, math, science and social studies departments. It also provides programs in Spanish and health education. Stephen Decatur Middle School offers a range of sports activities that includes baseball, basketball, cheerleading, soccer and softball. It also provides several extracurricular activities, such as art, band, music, chorus and physical education. Located in Clinton, Md., Stephen Decatur Middle School additionally operates a parent-teacher association.
