Incorporated in 1976, Times2 Academy is a charter school that serves students in grades kindergarten through 12. It is supported by the Providence Public Schools Department and approved by the Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The academy offers math, science, technology, engineering and enrichment programs. Times2 Academy is accredited by the American Academy for Liberal Education. It has a computer and instructional laboratory with more than 40 workstations and a library with over 15 workstations. The academy s students have access to Internet and school network resources, such as printers and user folders. The Times2 Academy has partnerships with area universities and colleges, as well as administers various summer programs.
