Both have undergraduate and graduate degrees from leading universities and actively participate in on-going continuing education programs. They hold Landscape Architectural registrations in Rhode Island, Massachusettes and Connecticut and Architectural registration in Rhode Island, NCARB and ARB certifications. Sara is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She is on the Rhode Island Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects and also on the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Tree Council. Sara is also a Certified Coastal Invasives Manager and a Rhode Island licensed arborist. Derek is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and American Institute of Architects and is on the Executive Board of the Rhode Island Chapter.
