The Hope-Jackson Fire Company is one of the four voluntary departments serving the town of Scituate, R.I. The company offers various fire and rescue services. It also conducts public education campaigns, cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes and local summer camps, as well as undertakes home and business fire safety inspections. The Hope-Jackson Fire Company, established in 1924, employs more than 50 firefighters. Its fleet consists of fire engines and a brush truck, pick-up truck and rescue boat. The company also employs a team of emergency medical technicians who specializes in providing cardiac and paramedic services.
