History
Classic Entertainment & Sports, Inc. was established by President & CEO Jimmy Burchfield, Sr. Since his time founding the company CES has received numerous awards such as Event of the Year, Fight of the Year, Matchmaker of the Year, and Promotion of the Year, to name a few. Though originally created as a Boxing promotion company, CES expanded into Professional MMA in 2010, becoming the first promoter to hold MMA events in the state of Rhode Island. CES has worked with many notable venues. The homebase is set at Twin River Casino, but has worked with casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Connecticut (Foxwoods Resort and Mohegan Sun).
