History

ArtProv was launched by working artists Michele Aucoin and Nick Paciorek to share their passion and inspiration for art. Constructed in a converted loft space in the Jewelry District's historic Doran Building, ArtProv's inspired location features three viewing spaces. ArtProv is temporarily closed due to health reasons.

Established in 1928, the Providence Performing Arts Center is a showplace for theater, local and regional stage performances. The center s community outreach program uses the arts to inspire children and families. It offers access to its programs to children from low-income families. The Providence Performing Arts Center offers function rooms on rent for parties and social gatherings. The center also offers gift certificates of various denominations. It features computerized heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and elevators. In addition, the Providence Performing Arts Center operates the Camp Broadway camp, which offers a variety of recreational activities for theatre-loving children between the ages of 10 and 17.
