HistoryWe first opened our doors in Cumberland, Rhode Island in 2009. We subsequently moved that office to our current site in Lincoln, RI, and soon after opened three other Rhode Island offices, one in Cranston, East Providence, and East Greenwich. The Anchor Counseling Center staff currently includes more than two dozen therapists, and a child psychiatrist, specializing in an array of mental health issues. All of our clinicians have been professionally verified by and listed with Psychology Today. Their education includes Masters Degrees at a minimum, and they are all independently licensed, which means they have been practicing for at least two years after completing graduate school.
