With more than 260 years of history to its name, the William Levering Elementary School is a landmark in northwest Philadelphia. The massive granite structure on Ridge Avenue serves Roxborough and is a feeder school for Roxborough High School. Under the leadership of Dr. Glenn Douglas the school teaches students to live in accordance to REACH2 values: respect, enthusiasm, achievement, citizenship, and hard work equals heroism.
