Dr. Mecca provides cardiac care for patients with coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and cardiovascular disease. He is clinically interested in congestive heart failure and is experienced in performing cardiac catheterizations. He is director, Outpatient Services and Surgical Liaison for AHN Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. He is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor – Internal Medicine/Cardiology at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Mecca received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, in Saint Louis, Missouri. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He received additional training through a cardiovascular disease fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship, also at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. He speaks English.
